There is a five bay comprehensive small engine workshop equiped with all the lastest computer diagnostic equipment, specializing in all servicing and repair of outboard and inboard motors. The repair of existing electronic equipment or the fitting of new electronic gear such as VHF radios, sounders, GPS units, bilge pumps, stereos, winches, trim tabs etc. This work is carried out by the dedicated Tasman Marine Team: Brohn Torckler, Workshop Supervisor, A-Grade Petrol and Diesel mechanic, Mercury and Yamaha qualified Marine Service Technician. Rod Magon, Yamaha and BRP qualified Marine Service Technician. Scott Hetherington qualified Auto Electrician and Mercury qualified Marine Service Technician. Luke Baker Marine Service Trainee, Yamaha trained. Clint Pease qualified Sheet Metal Tradesman. Tasman Marine are authorized Mercury, Mercruiser, Yamaha and Honda service dealers, having trained Mercury and Yamaha service technicians. All other makes of outboards ie Johnson, Evinrude, Suzuki, Tohatsu as well as inboards are able to be serviced. Tasman Marine also undertake aluminium and stainless steel fabrication and installation of customised winch applications, canopy frames, ladders, rocket launchers, aux brackets etc. Custom made trailer guide poles, launching / retrival frames, spare tire brackets, mudguards, light bars can be fabricated, galvanized, and fitted to your trailer. A trailer repair and WOF can be provided while you are out fishing, drop the car and trailer off as you leave the ramp and we will fix the trailer / get it a WOF while you are out fishing for the day.
